Terms of service

Effective August 14, 2026

These are the house rules. By creating an account or playing at bridge.games, you’re agreeing to them. They’re short — please actually read them.

The service

bridge.games is a free, independently run site for playing contract bridge online. We work hard to keep it up and improving, but it comes with no guarantees: features may change, downtime happens, and we may modify or discontinue any part of the service. We are not affiliated with the ACBL or any bridge league, and play here earns no masterpoints.

Your account

Fair play

Bridge only works if the hidden cards stay hidden. The server enforces most of this by design, but some of it is on you:

Table captains may remove players from their tables. We may suspend or close accounts that cheat or abuse others — bridge has enough history with this that we won’t hesitate.

Your content

Profiles, convention cards, photos, and chat are yours; by posting them you give us permission to display them on the service, which is the point. Don’t post anything unlawful or that isn’t yours to post.

The legal paragraph

bridge.games is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. A free bridge table can’t owe you more than another deal.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
